National Mole Day!

National Mole Day!

Alexa Vandepoll, Editor in Chief

Every year on October 23 from 6:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m., the mole is celebrated. For those of you who don’t know what a mole is, it’s a very tiny measurement (6.02 x 10^23), which is usually used in chemistry. National Mole day is celebrated throughout the U.S. every year in schools. Each year there is a new theme, and this years theme was “May the Moles be with you”
In Mrs. Geerling’s class, on Friday Oct. 23, national mole day festivities took place. Her second and third block AP Chemistry students got to celebrate with tons of fun. Treats that had to do with moles, such as caraMOLE brownies, GuacaMOLE, and MOLE cupcakes, were brought in to snack on. Tattoos, Shrinkadinks, and Color pun pictures, were also used as fun activities during the celebration. The mole day celebration looked like a lot of fun!
