On Wednesday September 16th, Common Market, a market/grocery store that specializes in organic products and also has a cafe, opened a new location on 7th street.. There were a few construction delays and the pandemic made it difficult to open on time. But, even throughout the pandemic madness and the chaos in grocery stores, this did not stop general manager Roger Diaz from the speedy process of renovation

Common Market has aisles upon aisles of healthy groceries and other products. There are two aisles filled with skincare and beauty related items, as well as an aisle with essential oils and supplements. Even if you are not into that and just want a small pick me up, Common Market has a hot bar with sandwiches, soups, coffee, smoothies, juices, and more. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They seem like they love working there and the environment is very positive. 

Although the prices can be up there, Common Market is in the perfect location and seems like it will be very successful. 7th street is near Downtown, Jefferson, and Frederick so there will be people coming from several different directions. There is also nothing like it nearby. Whether you are trying to better your healthy lifestyle, eat a filling meal, or get groceries for your family of seven, Common Market is a great addition to the city of Frederick.
