This past week was Tuscaroras Winter spirit week to get students excited for and the titans upcoming basketball season. The first day was Maryland Monday/ Jersey day and many students wore their Maryland gear to show their pride. The second day was Duo/Twin Tuesday. Our students came up with some very cute and creative duos such as Blair and Serena from Gossip Girl, Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, and Spongebob and Patrick from the nickelodeon cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants. Wednesday was flannel day, which had the most participation. Everywhere you looked, you could see  students and staff wearing flannels of all colors and patterns. Everyone wanted to keep warm and cozy for the winter! Thursday students wore ugly holiday sweaters to show how festive they could be. Some even made their own ugly sweaters! Lastly, Friday was white out to get in the spirit of winter. All grades came together to wear as much white as possible and show their school spirit. At the end of the day, Tuscaroras SGA hosted another pep rally! The games included a game of snowball dodge ball, snowman dress up races and a hot cocoa free throw competition. It was a great way to get our students excited for the first home basketball game later that night.
