Caps fall short in Pittsburgh

As the second round playoff series between the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins shifted from D.C. to Pittsburgh it would appear as though the momentum shifted as well. While the Caps clearly outplayed the Penguins in just about every measurable category, when the final bell sounded it was the Caps who stood on the losing side of the contest and are now trailing the Pens in the best of seven series by 2 games to 1. The series will continue in Pittsburgh on Wednesday and then will return to D.C. on Saturday. Let’s hope the Capitals’ superior play will be rewarded on the scoreboard in the next match up.

Go Caps!!!
