Pikesville Man was found dead inside his car in a Walkersville field Jan. 10. around 1:30 p.m.
The body was identified as Brice Wendall Boots. He had been called to court that Wednesday for a domestic violence case, but never appeared.
Reports from the Sheriff’s office share that they were called to 8200 block of Crum Road at 1:30 p.m. to investigate. The vehicle has been there since 7 a.m. with its flashers on.
“Our detectives have gone above and beyond to pull the facts and evidence together and build the case for indictment and prosecution, and successfully and without incident arrested Wilson-Hawkins this morning,” Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins explained in a statement.
This was investigated as a homicide, since then two suspects were arrested. Keon Wilson-Hawkins and Alonzo Micheal Epps were both arrested for connections with the crime.
There are no details releases on Epps involvement in the case.
It is alleged that Wilson-Hawkins conspired with the now deceased wife of Boots, Francis V. Hamilton, who was his aunt.
During the police search, evidence of a physical altercation and abduction surfaced. According to cell phone records, Hamilton and Wilson-Hawkins were both with Boots the night before the murder. Boots and Wilson-Hawkins had left the house at 4:37 a.m. on Jan 10, drove to Crum Road and stopped in the middle of a field. Wilson-Hawkins then left around 6:30 a.m.
In March Wilson-Hawkins was indicted on first-degree, conspiracy of first-degree murder, kidnapping and carjacking charges by the Frederick County grand jury.
