Ongoing murder case in Idaho University

It’s been a month in attempting to uncover the case of four University of Idaho students who were murdered near campus. So far, police say a suspect(s) has not been identified causing the case to be prolonged. From what the media has released, the four victims- Ethan Chapin(20), Madison Mogen(21), Xana Kernodle(20), and Kaylee Goncalves(21), were returning to their apartment along with their two roommates around 1:45 a.m.. They were then stabbed with a knife between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on the second and third floors of their building complex. The next morning after the accident, the two roommates were found to be sleeping as their friends were not in their beds anymore. After these findings, police were able to conclude this as a homicide considering the victims were “isolated and targeted”. The coroner said the victims were likely asleep, some had defensive wounds and each was stabbed multiple times. With no suspicious leads and no murder weapon found, there is still a killer out there. Since the gruesome attack, many students are on edge and some have decided not to return to the university for the final weeks of the semester. While parents are worried and upset they haven’t heard more, the Moscow police department in charge of the case, has said they’ve collected “hundreds of pieces of information” and are advising the public to submit any images or information that could be useful to the tragic case.
