Tasting Room, the best fine dining restaurant of downtown Frederick

Downtown Frederick has a plethora of familial restaurants and locations to dine in. One of the many is Tasting Room, located on N. Market Street! Offering brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert, Tasting Room has been categorized as a fine dining restaurant for those who want to enjoy a good time in the Frederick area.

Though Tasting Room was established in 2001, Jarrett Walsh bought the building in early March of 2020. His efforts to re-brand the restaurant from a simple bar destination have been prevalent throughout these past couple months, the restaurant has been gaining increased youth attraction! Walsh had previously owned a Black Hog restaurant, giving him the experience he needed to work full time as the owner of Tasting Room and work around what he has been dealt.

Starting off with your typical Tasting Room experience, their appetizers have been glorified! Tasting Room employee, Kisa Johnson, exclaimed “Our crab dip is SO good!” adding on, “We also serve lots of Panko Shrimp and Spanish Octopus due to popular demand.” Accompanying the appetizers is an assortment of main entrees and dessert options! Ranging from seafood to steak, and cheesecake to crème brûlèe, Tasting Room has different choices for customers to try and enjoy.

Since Tasting Room is a high class restaurant, their entrees run on the expensive side. Depending on the glass, your alcohol beverages might range from $5 to $900. Not forgetting to include, the main courses may cost you from as little as $10 to $65.

Come out and appreciate their meals! It’s one you can’t miss when you’re in the downtown area.
