Cloe Hartley, Marissa Pycha, and Mia Egerman

Since Netflix has a wide array of movies, many people find it hard to choose just one to watch. Our reviews are here to tell you what’s worth watching and save you the time you would’ve spent choosing for yourself. Our main focus is the lesser known of the movies Netflix has to offer and we plan to sort through both the good and the bad.

With Halloween around the corner, a thriller seemed fitting for our first review. Although the Uninvited was unfamiliar to us, the story-line enticed us. After watching it, we’d give the Uninvited 6.5 points out of 10. The actors were good but the dialogue was cheesy. The plot was steady throughout the movie and took an unexpected turn towards the end. The last 30 minutes definitely made the hour and a half we spent watching the movie worthwhile.

If you’re someone who really enjoys horror movies, you probably wouldn’t give the Uninvited as many points. Although there were some gory scenes, much of the movie was just building up to the climax. However if you favor suspense, the Uninvited is a good choice for you. With that being said, the unique film elements make for an above average movie.
