DIY: Halloween Decorations

Many people love getting in the holiday spirit starting with Halloween. What better way to get into the spirit than to decorate your house with easy and quick Halloween decorations?
1. Candy corn banner
Materials:
Paper plates
Yellow and orange paint
Ribbon or twine
Scissors

Step 1: Paint the outer circle of the paper plate in orange paint, then let it dry.

Step 2: Paint an inner circle with the yellow paint then let it dry. Make sure to leave the center of the plate white.

Step 3: Cut the plate in half, then half again. Then, cut it into halves again.

Step 4: Tape the candy corn pieces to the ribbon/twine. Hang wherever you’d like.

2. Spooky Bats
Materials:
Egg carton
Black and white paint
String
Glue

Step 1: Cut out sets of 3 egg holders from the egg carton.

Step 2: Paint them black, then let them dry.

Step 3: Paint two white circles on the middle egg holder, let dry.

Step 4: Add a little white dot to the middle of the white circles, let dry.

Step 5: Glue the bats to string, hang them wherever you’d like!
