Uyen Le is Tuscarora’s second student of the week this year.  She is a junior who enjoys competing with our academic team and badminton team.  She was nominated by her Spanish 2 teacher, Ms. Clark. Uyen sets a very high goal for herself because she always aims for straight As.  The key to reaching her goals is “putting in the effort.” After graduation, Uyen hopes to become a cosmetologist, but for now a lot of her time after school is taken up by her responsibility of watching her two younger brothers.  Uyen’s favorite books include The Giver and Of Mice and Men.   If you see Uyen in the hall be sure to congratulate her on being Student of the Week!
