Student Peace Awards of Frederick County
February 3, 2016
Every year, the Student Peace Awards of Frederick County asks guidance counselors and teachers to choose one high school student to be nominated for the Student Peace Award. The goal of this program is to nominate students who act as peacemakers in their school or community such as working to end or resolve conflict, addressing controversial issues within the community, and promoting peace. This year, our very own Titan, Ritchie Young, was nominated for the Student Peace Award. She has demonstrated the importance of peacemaking and conflict resolution within our community. Congratulations Ritchie Young! Thank you for your leadership!
