In Ms. Patricia Guest’s 11th grade ELA class, students were tasked to create a diorama for their final project to The Great Gatsby.
According to Ms. Guest, “Students had to analyze either a specific character, major event, or a building structure that had a huge impact on the story. Students then had to discuss why they chose their project, what makes it so important, and how did it impact the overall progress of the story. At least four pieces of cited textual evidence had to be included with explanations on how the evidence supported their analysis.”
It is evident how hard these students worked, managing to combine their artistic and creative sides to bring to light challenging themes, characters, and symbols in The Great Gatsby.
Thank you Ms. Guest for continuing to challenge your students and provide these amazing oppurtunities for those who foster many talents.
