On Tuesday Sept. 17 at 7:00 p.m., Tuscarora High Schools Varsity field hockey team faced a tough game against Liberty High School on Tuscarora’s home turf resulting in a 0-4 loss.
Senior goalkeeper, Allie Wallin, remarkably obtained over 19 saves throughout the duration of the game.
“The team is picking it up as the season is progressing,” Wallin claimed following the intense, rainy Tuesday game.
Along with Wallin, players Lulu Markoff and Olivia Thomas achieved three and two defensive saves, respectively.
Despite claiming the loss, Tuscarora undoubtedly played a tough game against the out of county school; particularly in the second quarter where no goals against Tuscarora were let in.
The amazing display of intensity, defensive skills as well as teamwork from Tuscarora is expectantly a preview to the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
