The Weeknd Cancels Show

The Weeknd was unfortunately forced to cancel his sold-out SoFi Stadium concert in Inglewood, California Saturday night. The reason behind this sudden cancellation is due to his own voice, while only being three songs into his set, the singer lost his voice in the middle of singing hit song “Can’t Feel My Face.” When coming to the realization that he had just lost his voice, The Weeknd would go on to walk off stage for a few minutes until later returning to announce to the stunned audience that he had lost his voice and apologized for having to cancel. The Weeknd would later go on to say in an Instagram post “My voice went out during the first song and I’m devastated. Felt it go and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date,” a very sincere apology from The Weeknd here. Due to this inconvenience, the status of his tour dates on Sept. 13, 22 and 23 remain unknown at the moment, hopefully with the singer having one of the most loyal fan bases out there they should be understanding if he does have to postpone or cancel.
