Easy No-Bake Cheesecake Recipe
Do you like cheesecake but hate how long it takes to make? Or every time you try to make one it doesn’t come out the way you want it to? Then luckily for you I have a solution. This easy cheesecake recipe only requires 10-15 minutes of your time to make, takes 1 hour to chill, and only requires 5 ingredients. Now this cheesecake isn’t your normal cheesecake you would get in a restaurant, since it only takes 10-15 minutes of your time and it is no-bake, the base of the recipe is cream cheese and cool whip. No-bake means that you do not have to put this cheesecake in the oven or cook it in any way, super easy right? So let’s get started.
Before we start, it is a good idea to plan out when you will be using this recipe. This is because the cream cheese and cool whip need to be room temperature when you go to start the recipe, so it is a good idea to sit out your cream cheese in the morning and then make your cheesecake later that night (cream cheese can take a few hours to become soft and room temp).
First you are going to need either an electric hand mixer, or you can use a whisk and mix by hand. You are going to need a spatula, a teaspoon measurement, a ½ cup measurement, and a 1 cup measurement. You are also going to need a medium sized bowl.
1 block/package of cream cheese (soft and room temperature)
3 cups of cool whip (room temperature)
½ cup of powdered sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Graham cracker pie shell
In a medium sized bowl mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together using an electric hand mixer (or by hand with a whisk) until the mixture is combined and creamy .
Once the cream cheese and powdered sugar are mixed, add the cool whip and vanilla extract and mix until completely combined.
Finally, pour your mixture into your graham cracker pie crust. Any flavor crust works, I recommend a regular graham cracker crust or a oreo flavored graham cracker crust (like I used here), both are amazing. (You can get a premade crust like this one at your local grocery stores)
Lastly pop your cheesecake in your fridge for 1-2 hours to let it set, and then eat as desired!
