A very hard goodbye
January 31, 2020
On Friday January 31st, the Titan community was rocked by the news that 12th grader William Enten lost his long battle with cancer. To know Will was to appreciate Will. He had an infectious positivity and a generous and gregarious nature. Despite the challenges he faced over the past several years, he never showed despair, he never complained about his situation, and he remained positive and hopeful until the very end.
Will touched many lives in his time with us at Tuscarora, from his teachers to his friends to his teammates on the basketball team. His legacy will be one of determination and courage. Will faced his challenges with grace, with hope, and with an irrepressible smile. This is a heart-breaking loss to our Titan family. But, despite our collective grief, it is important that we take some time to remember the smiles and laughter that Will shared with so many of us.
Rest in Peace William Enten and thank you for giving so generously of yourself to so many of us.
