Cassie Huntington, a freshman, was nominated by two teachers for Student of the Week. Ms. Bartman (SS) nominated her because “Always tries her very best! She is a responsible, mature, and conscientious student.”  Also Mr. DeRose (English) explained, “Cassie was a pleasure to have in my class this semester. She was always respectful and polite, helpful towards her peers, and worked diligently throughout the class.” Cassie believes her success stems from her positivity and her refusal to give up on things.  She plans to attend CTC to study physical therapy. In her free time, Cassie enjoys spending time with her mom, watching a tear jerking romance, and volunteering at Buckeystown United Methodist Church.
