Mr. Hartman (Journalism teacher) nominated Megan Lizambri, a senior, for Student of the Week.  “Meg quietly demonstrates commitment and pride in her work on yearbook. Her pages are always well done and done well before posted deadlines.”  Megan explained that her key to success is “trying to give 100% all of the time.” She is planning to carry her success on to college to study electrical engineering at UMD, UMBC or John Hopkins University.  Megan keeps very busy with extra curricular activities including volleyball, lacrosse, National Honor Society, National Math Honor Society, and Key Club. She also works at the Frederick Volleyball Club. In her limited spare time, Megan enjoys acrylic painting and has even graffitied the inside of her garage.  Megan has found a lot of her inspiration and direction from her two older brothers, and the advice she passes to incoming freshman is to “stay calm when work piles up and do the important things first.”
