The Great Frederick Fair

The Great Frederick Fair is an annual event in Frederick county that is used promote local agriculture. This year, the event will occur from September 13th to September 20th. The fair opens at 4:00 PM on the 13th, and closes at 10:00 PM. For the remaining days of the Fair, the event opens at 9:00 AM and ends at 10:00 PM. Tickets are free for children, but cost $8 for adults. The event is held at 797 E. Patrick St., Frederick MD.

At the Frederick Fair, visitors can learn about livestock and other elements of agricultural work. The 25th annual Ruppert’s landscaping competition will be held at the fair in order to demonstrate the importance of landscaping in agriculture to the public. Although the fair is typically used to promote local agriculture, there are other reasons for people to visit. Artwork, music, and motorsports will all have a presence at the event. Carnival rides will also be available to ride at the fair for an additional cost. With a variety of attractions to see, the Frederick Fair has something to offer for almost any visitor.
