Julius Avila-Aguilar, a freshman, was nominated by Mr. Tuel for Student of the Week.  “Julius has shown great dedication to improving his grade from term 3 to term 4. His demonstration of taking responsibility for improving his grade and seeking out help when needed is an example for everyone. He does this all with good humor and humility. Great job!”  The key to improving for Julius was pushing through, asking for help and staying after school. History is Julius’ favorite subject. His goal is to make the honor roll and graduate with honors when he is a senior. Julius is even considering trying the Career and Technology Center, but isn’t sure what field of study will best fit his interests.  Outside of school, Julius is busy participating in activities with his church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He devotes an hour of time before school every day to his church. When Julius isn’t studying he enjoys playing and watching soccer and he cheers for his favorite player Cristiano Rinaldo.
