Julia See, a junior, has been nominated a couple times this year and this week she was finally picked as Student of the Week.  She was nominated by Mr. Ratti. “Julia’s refusal to accept anything less than excellence in her academics was tested last term, and Julia battled to increase her grades to a place that showed her excellence. Her personal drive and work ethic are the primary reasons for her success, and she shows true #TitanPride every day at THS.” Julia’s key to success is having confidence in herself and believing she can do anything.  Julia is very busy with marching band, concert band and jazz band. She hopes to be a band leader for the clarinets next year. She is also an active member of the National English Honor Society and takes part in Titan Reading Buddies by visiting feeder elementary schools and reading to future Titans. After high school, Julia plans to attend Salisbury University to study nursing. She can picture herself in the emergency room where the job changes every day and the pace would keep her up and moving.  Julia has been inspired by her parents. She gets her love for music from her dad and strives to show her mom what she can do. She also sees Mrs. Welker as a role model who has reminded her that growth is a process. Julia’s advice to other students is to strive for their best and to stay focused.
