Alyvia Smith, a sophomore, is worthy of a selfie since she was nominated for Student of the Week by Mr. Hartman.  He explained, “Alyvia consistently performs at a very high level in photography class. She is a hard worker who has a talent and passion for photography.”  Alyvia is passionate about photography and hopes to study this art in New York after high school and eventually make a career out of it. She prefers to photograph nature and appreciates the creativity and freedom of the course.  Her ultimate photo location would be Japan. Alyvia says her hard work and ability to stay focused help her to be successful in school. She looks up to her mom as a role model and example of an extremely hard worker. In addition to photography, Alyvia enjoys playing the piano and reading mysteries.  She is snapping a perfect picture for herself with her efforts at Tuscarora High.
