This weeks Sports spotlight is focused on the ending of the Indoor Boys track and Field team. They just finished their first season with Coach Motter leading the way. They finished the season making their way into 3 events for the State meet. They placed 2nd in the 4x800m, fourth place in the 800m and also fourth in the 3200m rounding out an overall great season.

For the 3200m Nicholas Hilderbrandt made his mark by posting his personal record with a time of 10:23.58 and placing fourth. This was his last Indoor Track season and he will be finishing his highschool career with the upcoming Outdoor track season. Next year Nicholas will be attending and running for Mount Saint Mary’s University. He competed in the State Championship meet and placed 13th.

In the 800m Jeff young placed fourth place finishing with a time of 2:11.11 winning out the fourth place spot by .64 seconds. At the State Championships Jeff young posted his own personal record of 2.05.88 in the 800m. He bested his previous time of 2:07.12. He placed 11th place in the meet but through the times he set through the year you can see the growth.

The 4×800 team that came in 2nd place had four familiar faces Jeff Young , Dominic Bartolomeo, Nathan Usher, Nicholas Hildebrandt all 4 members of the Cross country team that won and made Titan History. They ran a total of 7 times together and Placed 2nd every time except for 2 times, once in the middle of the season and lastly in States. Their fastest time was 8:33.40 and ironically they finished fourth in that meet. 

Some notable Runner who came close to qualifying for the State meet were Jordan Addison won his initial heat with a time of 6.86 seconds but then came in sixth place in the Finals with a time of 6.91 seconds. The Titans 4×400 team came in 6th place with a time of 3:54.33 the members of the team were John Atwell, Nicholas Hildebrandt, Alec Atwell, George Adomako.
