Jadia Robert is the Student of the Week.  She was nominated by Ms. Welker who says, “She did an amazing job preparing for and taking her English PARCC reassessment, increasing her score significantly, and becoming College & Career Ready! I am so proud of her hard work and motivation this year.”  Jadia is a junior this year and is hoping to be a lifeguard for the spring and summer. She is also looking forward to playing softball and volleyball. Ultimately her key to success is staying on top of things and keeping focused on her goals.  Her advice to incoming freshman is to take the first year of high school seriously, “because it can set you on the right track.” Jadia admitted that she wishes she had tried harder at the beginning of her high school career. It is Jadia’s sister who inspires her since they are like “twins in the mind.” Jadia is very open to what the future holds.
