Titan’s Sports Playoff Outlook

Titans Sports Playoff Outlook

Steven Asare, Sports writer

With fall sports coming to an end, we still have a few Titan teams still fighting after regular season or fighting for a spot into the postseason.

The Titans Girls varsity soccer team played Linganore High School on October 30th and lost in the Sectional Semi-Finals of the playoffs.

The Titans Football Team is playing their last game against the undefeated oakdale hoping to win themselves some valuable playoff points and possibly make the push they need to enter the playoffs. In order for them to have much of a chance Blake High would have to beat Watkins Mill High Or South Carroll High would have to beat Westminster High but regardless the Titans have to beat Oakdale.

The Titans Boys Soccer Team was knocked out in their first round game against Linganore 1-0.

The Tuscarora Field Hockey Team Lost their First round game to Thomas Johnson 2-1.

The Titan Cheerleaders went to their County Competition on Monday night. They placed 4th in the county and 18th in the region unfortunately they needed to be 15th or higher to progress to the next round.

Cross country is headed to Watkins Mill High school today to run for the 3a West Regional Meet. The weather is perfect for them at a daily high of 76. They will be competing against all 3a West school with a cross country team.

The Titans Volleyball is likely the team that will make it the farthest in the playoffs for Tuscarora. They are currently on a bye week entering the playoffs in the #1 seed and will face either Linganore or Thomas Johnson on November 5th. Both being teams that they beat before they hopefully can do it again so that they live to play again on November 7th which could end up being their rematch against North Hagerstown.
