Mary Kamara has been nominated for Student of the Week by Ms. Banovic who explained, “Mary is a hard working, bright, respectful and polite student who always goes the extra mile.  She is always helpful to those around her, and overall a great student to have in class.” Mary sees her own success as a result of trying her best and asking for help frequently.  After school Mary participates in a program called On the Mark. She hopes to earn a degree in mathematics and ultimately become an online business owner. Mary considers herself quite shy, but the spotlights is on her this week for her outstanding academic performance in Ms. Banovic’s class.
