Xquiszet is our student of the week and a senior at Tuscarora High. She was nominated by her dance teacher Ms. Moore.  Before she was dancing, she was a cheerleader her freshman and sophomore year. Now she is really enjoying her art class. She likes any kind of painting or drawing.  She hopes to transfer this creativity into a career in cosmetology after high school. Her key to success, “if you want something you have to work for it. You can’t just sit around and expect people to do it for you.”  Xquiszet loved the book The Fault in our Stars and if you borrow her headphones you will hear hip hop, R&B or rap.  The majority of her time outside of school is dedicated to working at Burger King since she is saving up for a car.  Be sure to congratulate Xquiszet.
