Our Skating Titan!
February 1, 2018
Emma St. Croix is a junior here at Tuscarora and with already being an excellent student, she is a phenomenal ice skater, and a recent competition with her team allowed her to showcase that!
The ice skating team she is a part of the is under the company, “Sparklers.” Her team is on the Open Juvenile level and she’s with twelve other skaters. She’s been with them for about six years doing synchronized ice skating, though she has been skating for almost more than half her life- since she was ten to be exact. Needless to say, Emma is a more than wonderful ice skater! Her skating origin story is quite the cute one, too! Her mom won a small basket auction and one of the prizes inside simply happened to be a free ice skating lesson. Since then, she’s been skating!
The competition her and her team participated in was held in Fort Myers, Florida and they managed to get in the top five! It was held on January the 17th and when brought into the rink, their performance was stunning and they’re proud of how they did. But, when the next competition on February the 19th comes around, Emma hopes that they’ll score even higher and win a medal!
And with their awesome skating and even more practice, we’re sure they will!
