January 22nd Tuscarora put on the third annual showcase in which students participating in the show choir performed for parents and students alike who attended the after school event. Those who participated in the showcase performed songs, choreography or monologues of their choice. All participants practiced their act over the semester to perfect it for the show case. Show choir student Dayton Newman attested to the amount of hard work that goes into the showcase, saying “I was surprised by how well prepared you have to be and how much hard work goes into the performance” . Emily Frocke has participated in this event in years past, and she said her favorite part of the show is “being able to see the hard everyone puts into their performance”. I personally attended this event and just from having seen the performance it is clear that all the students involved work incredibly hard in order to prepare for the event.
