While the new year brings about new goals and new opportunities, it also gives us many things to look forward to! Whether it’s a game, a movie, a book, or a new series, the things we love and have been anticipating are closer than before and we can’t wait! Maybe some of the things you’ve been waiting for will be on this list or maybe you’ll find something new to wait for- either way, here are some things you may be looking forward to in 2018!

     Even more superheroes!

     Marvel Studios and DC Comics still aren’t slowing down in their cinematic universes! With more movies to come from both sides, their fans are in high anticipation to see their favorite superpowered stars back on the big screen. Movies like Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, and Deadpool 2 are simply a few movies that Marvel fans are looking forward to. Meanwhile, DC lovers have Aquaman and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight to look forward to in addition to the long awaited return of the Young Justice series in 2018!

     Movies, movies, movies!

     The list of movies and sequels to come out in 2018 is amazing and with one of the top listed movies to come out in 2018 being long overdue, this year’s movies will be more than satisfying! Incredibles 2 is a movie that Disney Pixar fans have been waiting for for 14 years and now that it’s finally coming out, we are more than excited! Other movies that many are eager for include; A Wrinkle in Time, The New Mutants, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Isle of Dogs, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Ready Player One, The Predator, Ocean’s 8, and many more to come!

     Insane Tech!

     While they’re bound to be expensive, new and cool technology are popping out in 2018! For example, the Magic Leap One Creator Edition AR Headset which can project a full 3D image onto your retinas that can be focused on in the same way that real objects can. And as an extra bonus, it looks like something that came right out of a steampunk universe! Oculus is coming out with a new headset as well that neither requires a phone or a PC to operate and including a 2,560×1,440-pixel LCD display, built-in speakers, a headphone jack and a motion controller with 3 degrees of freedom. Plus, Samsung, Windows, and Apple are ready to pour out their own tech with new phones and laptops!

     There are still many things to look forward to this year and there is still plenty of time for even more things to be announced, overall, 2018 is looking like a great year to come!
