Voices of Tuscarora: 2018 Resolutions
January 5, 2018
Hello, Titans!
This week we’re bringing it back into the new year with everyone’s favorite thing: resolutions. While many of you readers may make your own resolutions and openly share them, some of the teenagers may not be so likely to. Some students may choose to make the simple quality of life improving resolutions while others may choose something that is totally life changing. I went around the school today and asked
students what some of their resolutions for 2018 were.
Jada Reid:
“I want to speak my mind more and be less of a doormat to people.”
Sam Rearick:
“I was sick basically all of 2017 to some extent, so I want to be less sick this year and I’m going to do that by keeping my health in better shape.”
Melissa Yeniceli:
“I am going to procrastinate less.”
Keylayla Blackman:
“I am going to drink more water and try to be more optimistic.”
McKenzie Weatherhogg:
“I am going to stick to some sort of workout routine in an effort to improve my health. Something I’ve been meaning to do for the past few resolutions.”
While these are only a few of the many, they reflect what some of the students of Tuscarora are looking to do this year to improve their lives in some way or another. This is the first part of a two-part article. The second part is on how to maintain and make resolutions that are achievable.
