Culinary Corner: Monkey Bread




  • ⅔ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 4 (7.5 oz) cans of Pillsbury Buttermilk Refrigerated Biscuits (2 16.3 oz cans work fine as well)
  • 10 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 cup of packed brown sugar



  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and grease/spray a 12 cup fluted tube pan.
  2. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large
  3. Separate each biscuit
    from each can and using a knife, cut eat biscuit into four quarters.FullSizeRender (2)
  4. Take a piece of a biscuit and dip it in the large bowl with the granulated sugar and cinnamon, then place it in the fluted tube pan. Do this for all of the pieces. Sprinkle any excess mixture on top of all the pieces in the pan.FullSizeRender (1) - Copy
  5. Mix the melted butter and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Once mixed, pour it over all of the pieces in the fluted tube pan. (not pictured)IMG_1053
  6. Place in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool for 5 minutes, then carefully flip upside down onto a large plate.
  7. Serve!
