What classes are you taking?

On Monday, February 08 the schedules for the 2016-2017 academic school year were passed out to students. On the sheet, there are some new courses added that were previously unavailable to students. The registration period reminds us that the school year is waning. Though are still several months ahead of us, it is always fun to imagine what the future holds.

The biggest change has come in the world language department of Tuscarora. Next year, American Sign Language will not be offered at all. However, they may be hope yet for the language buffs among Titan nation. On this registration sheet, there are the options for German 1 and 2. There are more options for French and Spanish, meaning THS is offering more advanced classes in the two commonly offered languages.

Another change to the registration sheet is the lack of dual enrollment FCC classes. Many juniors are complaining that they are unable to fill out their schedule because they intended to take FCC classes. It seems to be just short of uproar! Lauren Mongeau is thoroughly annoyed that she cannot properly fill out her schedule unless she decides to change all her FCC classes to Advanced Placement classes. She was recommended to take Math 207 as opposed to AP Statistics, and she feels that is her best course of action. I would say the best course of action for her, and all the other juniors in a similar situation, to take is to bring up her issues with her counselor.

Which Elective classes are you planning to take next year?
