Mini Apple Pies
Ingredients:
-4 cups peeled diced apples
-2 tablespoons flour
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
-1 package pre-made pie crusts
-1 egg

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and then line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, add the apples and flour, then stir in the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

3. On a floured cutting board, roll out the pre-made dough until it is about 1/8 inch thick.

4. Using a glass, turn it over and cut 16 circles and continue to re-roll the dough until you can’t get anymore circles.

5. Place about 2 tablespoons of the apple mixture onto the center of the circles.

6. Place the remaining dough on top, pinch to seal and then press a fork around the entire edge.

7. Beat 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of water, brush tops of pies and then cut a hole in the tops.

8. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Cool.
