Every year Wendy’s High School Heisman recognizes more than 5,000 of the best male and female high school seniors. Winners are identified at the local, state and national level. We are proud to announce that two of our students at Tuscarora have been selected to represent Frederick County at the state level. It is worth noting that only 10 students are selected from all the high schools in Frederick and only 100 students total are selected across the state of Maryland. It an honor to have THS represented not once, but twice for this years’ competition.

Demetrius Anderson and Alison Penn are the school winners representing THS and Frederick County this year. Both of these students have achieved high academic marks while also participating in several varsity level sports. These young Titans represent upstanding character, sportsmanship, respect, and commitment. We would like to congratulate both of these fine student athletes and thank them for their efforts in the classroom and on the field of play!
