The Third Annual Golden Mile Soccer Game :

The third annual Golden Mile soccer game between Tuscarora and Frederick High School will be held at Frederick High School on Saturday, October 17th with the Varsity Girls game starting at 5:30 and the Varsity Boys game at 7:00. ADMISSION IS FREE. This is a traditional event that was started in 2013 in order to give those kids who are less fortunate an opportunity to come out and see a great soccer game. Fc Frederick and FCPS combined to create a soccer program for kids in the area who had no access to after school sports due to the fact they could not afford it. That is essentially what Golden Mile Soccer is all about. Everyone is encouraged to come to the game Saturday as it is a family-friendly environment. There will be vendors set-up at the entrance of the stadium serving all your favorite foods as you relax and watch a great rivalry. At halftime of the boys’ game staff members from both Frederick and Tuscarora will face off in a match of Bubble Soccer, that is something you won’t want to miss! Come out and support both your Girls and Boys Soccer teams! We will definitely need the Titan pride there loud and proud, and don’t forget the game is FREE!
