The homecoming festivities are right around the corner. This year is going to be truly special, with all sorts of new things to be involved in.
Friday, October 9, we will kick off the homecoming weekend with our annual parade. It starts at 4:30 pm and lasts until 5 pm. Your favorite clubs, teams, and homecoming court will march and ride down Ballenger Creek Pike. Following the parade will be Tuscarora’s first ever fan gate. It’ll be on the practice field, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. This will be a community celebration featuring a corn hole tournament, live entertainment, and food.
At 6:30 pm the fangate will head into the stadium for our 7:00 kickoff to the Homecoming football game. We will be playing South Hagerstown, and homecoming court will be announced during halftime. This should be an interesting matchup because when asked, Senior, Tyler Cornwell told us ” we’re going to have to give it our all, for all four quarters, but if we do that we should win.”
On Saturday October 10, the homecoming dance will take place at Tuscarora High. It’ll be from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm and tickets go on sale Wednesday September 30. The tickets are $15 each and all you need to do is bring your money and signed homecoming dance contract.
Homecoming weekend is not something you’re going to want to miss this year. It’s going to be a great time all weekend long, and every Titan is encouraged to come join the fun!
