When students come back from winter break the end of the first semester quickly approaches. Students spend the rest of their time working hard to turn in their assignments in order to wrap up their classes as they draw to an end. January 21 marks the start of the second semester and the start of a new schedule and new classes for students to follow. With a new start, there is a lot to look forward to for this new semester.

What are you looking forward to next semester, spring 2025?

Ms. White: I’m looking forward to starting new classes and having my baby in May.

Alissa: I’m looking forward to having FCC Psych and not having a third block.

Sofia: I’m looking forward to having more classes with my friends and graduation.

Taylor: I’m looking forward to getting out of high school.

Alana: I’m looking forward to having three FCC classes and only one elective

River: I am looking forward to taking more photography classes and writing more stories next semester.

Ashton: I’m looking forward to spending time with my best friends Sofia and Aether and starting my classes as a dental student.

Chloe: I’m looking forward to taking a Psychology class and going to New York.

Brianna: I’m looking forward to meeting new people in my classes and graduating.

Tanner: I am looking forward to becoming a firefighter.

Mackenzie: The summer,cooking new foods and new classes

Adia: I’m excited for it to start getting warmer outside and outdoor track season

Josh: Getting better with other things, focusing on myself and working harder next semester.

Lavell: To be number one.

Aubree: I am looking forward to seeing Elvis’ house after graduation.

Aymen: I am looking forward to the new classes and getting closer to summer.

Addison: I am looking forward to being done with high school. Although I gained a lot of experience and memories, I am ready to have more freedom and start a new path.

Aether: I’m looking forward to focusing on new hobbies and passions.

Carmen: I’m looking forward to not taking math next semester.

Courtney: I’m looking forward to having flexible classes and graduation.

Cole: I’m looking forward to graduating and going on the senior trip.

As we’ve heard there’s a lot to look forward to for this next semester, especially as we draw closer to the end of the school year. I hope both students and staff had a wonderful first semester and are able to enjoy the second semester to the fullest.
