Elvis Presley, born in 1935 from Tupelo, Mississippi would have turned 90 on January 8, 2025. Since his passing it has been a tradition that they hold a birthday celebration for him at his home Graceland. Graceland tends to go all out for Presley including a huge 

cake every year with everyone crowded around to sing happy birthday. Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, would come to Graceland on her father’s special day to celebrate with fans, but since her passing in 2023 it hasn’t been the same. 

In honor of his 90 birthday they opened a new 90 Exhibit. “(The) 90 Exhibit features 90 curated stories told through items specially selected from the over 1.5 million artifacts housed at the Graceland Archives at Elvis’ iconic home in Memphis. These artifacts, each with a unique story, range from iconic items easily recognizable by fans to rare, personal pieces that capture moments in Elvis’ life that were out of the spotlight (Graceland.com).” These “iconic items” include pictures, film and so many more unique items. 

If you are an Presley fan like me I would highly recommend going to Graceland, not only to go see the new 90 Exhibit but to see everything Graceland has to offer. You can walk through his house and along the property, there is a museum where you can see even more of Elvis’s belongings.
