With the regular season coming to an end, the boys and girls varsity soccer teams remain undefeated! With the virus still very present in the community, nobody knew what to expect this season. Even with this limiting factor, both squads have kept their focus on a similar goal. Bring a state championship home. Not only have both teams put themselves in an excellent position for a possible state title appearance,  but both squads have knocked over every single obstacle along the way.

With the CMC (Central Maryland Conference) Championship up next, the girls’ team owns a 13-0-1 record while only allowing three goals in those contests. Apart from the fact that the girls have displayed phenomenal defense, they have proved that they are also a high-powered offense. The girls’ soccer team has scored a grand total of 58 goals! Even though that is an incredible feat, nobody should overlook the success of the boys’ squad. They, too, have not lost a game! The boys have pushed aside every other team trying to dethrone their success. They own a 13-0-1 record with the CMC championship against Middletown Saturday the 23rd at 2:30 at Utica Park. The girls’ team plays just before the boys at 12:30 against Brunswick.

The success of both soccer teams cannot be overstated. What each team has accomplished thus far is incredible. However, the players and coaches are not satisfied, they want to make a run at states, with the next obstacle being the CMC championship. These opportunities come far and few between. The soccer teams need the support of everyone as they prepare to conquer every opponent that comes their way. Let’s continue to make this season one to remember!
