Senior year is the big year where teenagers have to  figure out the next chapter of their lives. Some of our fellow Titans, however, have already made that decision and have committed to a variety of different colleges largely on the basis of athletic scholarships. The following Titans have made their choice and charted the next several years of their lives. So, when you see these Titans, be sure to congratulate them for their successes and for their continued commitments to the sports they participate in!

These are the senior athletes that have committed to division one programs.  Zarah White made the Varsity volleyball team starting her freshman year and has been on the team throughout high school.  She was voted as a team captain her senior year for great leadership. Zarah committed in February 2016 of her junior year to James Madison University, and plans to pursue the rest of her volleyball career.

Other division one athletes, Belle Huang had recently committed to Rutgers University for a full ride scholarship for gymnastics. She is interested in studying exercise science or nutrition. Titan’s football star, Rodney Dorsey committed to Towson University to continue his passion for the game. He based his decision on how he connected with the players and the coaches.

Seniors, Jena MacDonald and Emily Lehman have also made an early decision on what college they want to attend. Jena MacDonald made her decision in the early fall 2016 of her junior year to Shippensburg University to play lacrosse. Emily Lehman made her big commit to play soccer for Frostburg State University in the beginning of summer. She recently had recovered from tearing her ACL and had fast and strong recuperation. She is now back and better than ever, working harder and harder every day. Tuscarora Titan athletes are making huge accomplishments throughout the athletic program. We look forward to hearing about their journey through the next chapter of these athletes lives!
